I just downloaded Power48, a HP48-series calculator emulator that's enhanced for Palm OS 5 and released under the GNU Public License. Details are at the Power48 site, http://power48.mobilevoodoo.com/.

This is a really neat system, and makes good use of VFS storage to reduce memory requirements. While ROM images are provided, you need to be the owner of a HP 48-series calculator to legally use the image for your device.

While the app itself is quite useful, even better is the source. Robert Hildinger developed this app (based on Emu48) originally as an all-68K app, then added ARMlet support using CodeWarrior V9.

Please take a moment to check this out, and if you can help support Robert's work, I'm sure it would be very appreciated.
