PalmSim: Starting without calibration

When in Europe, I learned about an interesting issue with the 9.x tools; we use a command-line switch to the Palm OS Simulator that bypasses the calibration screen on most ROM images. This command-line switch is documented in the PalmEmulators.xml file, and just tells PalmSim to jump to the Launcher app on startup.

What I found out is that this doesn't work when your PalmSim is using an EFIGS ROM image. This seems to be due to you needing to select a default language. I don't have a workaround right now; if you need to debug with an EFIGS version of Palm OS, you should start PalmSim first using the PalmOS/Launch Emulator command, then after digitizing, you can start your debug session and CW will use the existing PalmSim session rather than launching its own.

Thanks to Karl-Koenig Koenigsson for reminding me to post on this topic.
