More on Codenames
I've been quite busy working on V9, so I've not had time to do another article here. However, I did have an update on my earlier article on Palm OS codenames. I've found two useful sites for this topic:
http://homepage.mac.com/alvinmok/palm/codenames.html is a more comprehensive list of codenames than what I posted. It also has information on the actual device and HAL IDs used on the different devices.
http://www.mobilegeographics.com/dev/devices.html talks about detecting your device at runtime, and gives code that actually uses those IDs to good effect.
